Children
Children in Herefordshire are especially welcome, with plenty of things to do. There's the Dick Whittington Mohair Countryside Centre, featuring Patch the Pony, to the west, the Amazing Hedge Puzzle and Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo at Symonds Yat in the south, and Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre at Kington.
Eastnor Castle at Ledbury, the Cathedral in Hereford and many of the county's museums run children's events and workshops during the holidays. Don't miss a visit to the Waterworks Museum, especially when the engines are ‘in steam'.
